Final impression is considered as a key step in the making of a removable partial denture. Achieving this prosthetic step, in the case of the free prosthetic edentulous mandibular posterior implies improving better management of tissue duality.
This article will describe step by step the partial dissocied impression technique made under occlusal pressure. When it is well indicated, this technique is considered a better approach for management of the difference if the tissue depressibility between supporting tissues by separating recording of bone-mucous structure from the dental and periodontal support.

One of the indications for esthetic crown lengthening of anterior teeth is to expose the anatomic crown of teeth and reduce “excessive gingival exposure” which is also known as “gummy smile appearance”. This report shows two cases in which an esthetic problem of gingival exposure has been treated by simple periodontal surgeries to improve patient’s satisfaction.

The study purpose was to analyze the efficacy and safety of the associated Midazolam and nitrous oxide (MEOPA) in dental oral care among the children. The investigation was conducted in the pediatric dentistry department CHU Purpan. The target population consisted of all uncooperative, anxious or disabled children aged 3-18 years referred in the pediatric dentistry department by private practitioners for failure of dental care at vigil state. The less serious side effects were observed were the agitation (11%) of hiccups (5%), urinary leakage (2%) and nausea (2%) with 99% success. The conscious sedation induced by inhalation of nitrous oxide (MEOPA) associated with Modazolam is an effective alternative technique to the general anesthesia. The use of this combination must be reserved to the teaching hospital under the supervision of an anesthetist.

Abstract Download Full Article
Cutaneous sinus tracts of dental origin are often initially misdiagnosed and inappropriately treated because of their uncommon occurrence and the absence of symptoms in approximatelyhalf the individuals affected. This paper reports a case describing the diagnosis and treatment of an extra-oral cutaneous sinus tract of odontogenic origin in relation to a mandibular left first molar. Non-surgical endodontic treatment was performed and resulted in resolution of the sinus tract and promoted peri-apical healing of the tooth involved.

The palate is an important anatomical structure: it separates the oral and nasal cavities and plays a role in mastication and phonation.
The peeling of the palatal mucosa may cause the formation of a hematoma compromising healing. The major risk is the lesion of the greater palatal artery, because hemorrhage is important, and difficult to dry. Using the palatal plate as a guide to healing can prevent the formationof hematoma and allows pressing the lining against the bone which promotes hemostasis.

The inclusion of the canine is one of the most important dental inclusions. The therapeutic management depends of the clinical cases. In adults, surgical removal remains the treatment of choice, except in casesthat orthodontics can replace it.
We report the case of a female patient of 38 years for the absence of 23 in the arch. Panoramic radiography has showed the inclusion of 23 with intrusion in the left maxillary sinus. The scanner of the facial bone revealed the inclusion of the 23 communicating with the left maxillary sinus. The extraction was performed under local anesthesia with a left under orbital block supplemented by mucosabuccal infiltration at the upper left side. The postoperative was uneventful. The aim of this work it to describe the management of an impacted canine.
