Dental mobility is defined as an increase in the amount of movement of the dental crown under the effect of a defined force. This is a frequent reason for consultation for patients with periodontitis.
This was a descriptive cross-sectional study that was carried out in the dentistry department of the Bamako Military Hospital over a period of 3 months (from January 15 to April 15, 2020). All patients who were consulted in the service and who agreed to participate in the study were included in this study. The mobility diagnosis was made using the Muhlemann index and a questionnaire was used for data collection.
Dental mobility was present in 110 out of 750 patients, or 14.7%. Males represented 49%, age groups 46 and over accounted for 31.8% of cases. Pain was the most common reason for consultation with 47.3%. Muhlemann class 2 dental mobility represented the highest number with 54.6% of cases. Mobility affected more adults and women. These data illustrate the importance of implementing effective means of early management of periodontal diseases, in order to prevent the installation of disabling dental mobility for patients.

Early diagnosis and treatment are essential for successful long-term prognosis in patients with aggressive periodontitis. The role of the orthodontist in diagnosis and referral to periodontal treatment is crucial since most orthodontic patients are adolescents in which aggressive periodontitis mostly affects.
Many patients undergoing orthodontic treatment believe that their regular and frequent visits to the orthodontic office are sufficient to monitor their dental and periodontal needs. Orthodontists should be aware of this notion, which makes the fulfillment to the above guidelines of even greater importance.
Strict adherence of the guidelines as a routine protocol for periodontal examination prior, during and following orthodontic treatment may dramatically decrease the severity and improve the prognosis of aggressive periodontitis in orthodontic based clinic.
Finally, this article describes a combined periodontal-orthodontic therapy in two patients with generalized aggressive periodontitis. A complete periodontal treatment was first conducted. After completely reducing inflammation and stabilizing the periodontium, the clinician started the orthodontic treatment by using moderate forces along with periodontal monitoring, thus reaching the aesthetic and functional objectives set when treatment started.

Context :
The prosthetic restorations must restore a harmonious arch taking into account the gingivo-facial framework, the morphology and giving a natural appearance to the whole. The choice of teeth is a key step in the prosthetic chain. It concerns the size, shape and color of the teeth. In prosthesis, the choice of the color of the teeth is more delicate especially when certain upper teeth persist.
Objective :
The objective of this work was to verify the existence of a symmetry between the upper homologous tooth colors.
Materials and method :
The material for our study includes the Vita Easyshade Advance®4.0 spectrophotometer, a data collection sheet and an examination tray.
The color captures were performed in the middle third of the central incisor at the second molar of dials I and II on 600 patients. The analysis of the data collected was carried out using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences software (SPSS) version 22. Cohen's K statistical test was used to verify the different possibilities of color symmetries between the upper homologous teeth.
Results :
Cohen's KAPPA test values (K) are respectively between central incisors, lateral incisors, canines, first premolars, second premolars, first molars and second molars of 0.351-0.577-0.659-0.573-0.536- 0.353-0.512 (p<0.05).
Conclusion :
All values of K are less than 1, so there is no symmetry between the colors of the upper homologous teeth. Nevertheless, we have the presence of a harmony of the color of the teeth at the level of each dial.

Summary :
Surgical endodontics is a method of treatment performed after failure of orthograde endodontic treatment, or impossibility of conventional endodontic treatment.
The present study aims to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of Biodentine™ in apical endodontic surgery, to present its healing property after retrograde obturation from clinical case series.
This is a study of series of clinical cases, carried out over a period of twenty four months. Three patients were included in the study. The results highlighted the therapeutic efficacy of Biodentine™, the three cases were considered completely cured after a two-year postoperative follow-up. Thus, Biodentine™ has its place in the therapeutic arsenal of Odontostomatologists.

Abstract :
Surgical endodontics is a treatment method performed after an orthograde endodontic treatment has failed or a conventional endodontic treatment is not possible.
The present study aims to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of Biodentine™ in apical endodontic surgery, to present its healing property after retrograde obturation from clinical case series.
This is a study of clinical case series, carried out over a period of twenty four months. Three patients were included in the study. The results highlighted a therapeutic efficacy of Biodentine™, characterized by a disappearance of clinical and the X-ray signs. All three cases were considered completely healed after a two-year postoperative follow-up.
Thus, Biodentine™ has its place in the therapeutic arsenal of Odontostomatologists.

Introduction :
The fixed prosthesis restoration is now advancing significantly in terms of biomaterials, laboratory methods, and computer assistance. Nevertheless, the realization of fixed prostheses remains undoubtedly a delicate work requiring rigor and meticulousness during each step of the prosthetic chain.
When the clinical indication is well founded, and the therapeutic bases are globally respected, the fixed prosthesis will represent the prosthetic therapy of choice, and will make it possible to answer several objectives:
- To ensure the oral and masticatory functions of natural teeth
- Restore aesthetics
- To meet the comfort and psychic profile of the patients
- Guarantee the oral cavity components’ health by respecting the integrity of the periapical and periodontal areas
- To ensure durability over time.
If the prosthesis fails to meet any of these objectives, it will be considered a failure.
The main objective of this study, through a survey conducted among dentists practicing in different Moroccan cities, was to have a global overview of the incidence and prevalence of the different types of failures encountered in fixed prostheses and their different manifestations.

Aim :
The objective of this study was to determine the epidemiological and clinical profile of the fixed prosthetic needs at Tengadogo University Hospital.
Methodology :
A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted at the Patient care service of the Tengadogo University Hospital from March 2016 to June 2016. The data collection was done from consultation records and patient medical records.
Results :
the population was characterized by its youth (39 years) with a predominance of women (60.2%). More than half of the sample (68%) lost one to two teeth and the average of missing teeth was 1.54 teeth. Edentulous was the major cause of fixed prosthetic indication (72%). Tooth-supported bridges and Implant-supported crowns accounted for most of the diagnoses needs (44.5% and 35.8%).
Conclusion :
The needs for fixed prosthetic rehabilitation are real. Prosthetic treatment of highly dilapidated teeth and devitalized teeth will help reduce the phenomenon of edentulousness.
Clinical Significance :
This study showed the paradox between the reality of the state of oral health and the need for fixed prostheses in the population. Exploitation of the results would help set up a health program to meet the significant demands for fixed prostheses.
